Sarah, you look SO happy! That's a lovely photo of you. How blue are those skies?! Gorgeous photos, I can all but feel the balmy night air. Makes me want tropical – now. Can't wait to hear more (later when you have time.)
Cocktails make me pretty happy! The skies were just lovely – I have even made a sunset photo (of which there were countless) a background on my phone!
There's not too much to tell, cause we were super lazy. Best French tainted buffet breakfast, great temperature without the nasty heat or humidity of some other recent holidays. There was a strong French flavour – I loved going to the supermarkets. There's a contingent of Japanese tourists, so in addition to English, you sometimes see Japanese. Generally speaking, it's an expensive place, even compared to Sydney. This is part of why we didn't do more. That and laziness!
Simply gorgeous. Nice to have an island holiday with a bit of difference. I want to go to Tahiti, but the cost – more than New Caledonia – puts me off.
