A selfie a day

I’ve often travelled alone. I’ve often not taken any photos of myself. With the BF back home, and this echo of friends in the past, I implemented a policy of ‘a selfie a day’. In reality, some days there are a few selfies, and other days there are none. But you get the picture:

  1. A fantastic idea! Everything looks lovely – I want to see more of that moss garden 🙂 And the look on your face with the maple candies is hilarious!

    1. Ok, I'll get the moss garden and that day's photos up next! I seriously just need some external motivator to get this blog pumping!

The maple photo wasn't an actual selfie, cause I was so un-co to do that! But I was pretty chuffed, and I've only eaten one so far – such self restraint!!

  2. That's a great policy to implement! We did a similar thing, trying to take 'family selfies' because we have so few photos of all of us together in one shot. It's hard to pick s favourite because they are all lovely. I do love the moss garden one though – you look espcially happy and it's a lovely setting!

    1. Thanks – I did feel it was a little 'me me me' but hey, one a day isn't that much. The moss garden was lovely (save for the mozzies!) and then we headed to a bamboo forest of sorts, so picturesque!

    1. I'd never worn a kimono before, and whilst this opportunity was unscheduled, I'm glad I jumped to be one of the three to try one on, as we didn't get the chance again. Mind you – it was hot, and this was a low level kimono, not like the true multi layered one we saw the Maiko wear!

  3. This is so much fun!!!! Daniel and I do the same when we travel together; we take a selfie at each landmark. I'm not a big selfie person though; I can never get my head in the frame

  4. You are very pretty!

And take a good selfie. Maybe because of my age, I can’t take a selfie. Can’t as in I look sooo ugly. OK, maybe it’s not my age, but it is just how I look! I am it photogenic at the best of times but in selfies I look like a freak.

And I love how you get the scenery in. Beautiful.

    1. OH my your are kind!! See my other comment – I had a fair few outtakes on the selfies (and so many offers to 'take one of you' – but that ruined my fun!) The whole aim is beyond me – let's face it, I look the same (more or less) every day, so the background has to feature somewhat!
